2007 Annual Award Banquet back to Special Events Congrats to the following Award Winners! Mike Cantrell The Big "R" Pacesetter George Harris “Biff” Bettencourt Outstanding Service Nelda Lavender Chair's Plaque Outgoing Directors Plaque Janet Coyle Heritage Hall of Fame Mike McCallum (Community Bank and Past Chairman of the Board of Directors and Past Mayor of the City of Rowlett) presenting the Chamber’s highest award, The Big “R” Pacesetter Award, to Mike Cantrell, Dallas County Commissioner – given in appreciation for outstanding leadership, long term service and contribution to the growth of Rowlett. Drew Howard ( H & S Manufacturing & 2007-08 Chairman of the Chamber Board of Directors) presenting George Harris (Deputy City Manager of Rowlett) the second highest award the Chamber gives each year and it is the “Biff” Bettencourt Outstanding Service Awards given in recognition of dedicated service to the community of Rowlett Nelda Lavender (Community Bank) and Drew Howard (H & S Manufacturing). Drew (2007-08 Chairman of the Board) is presenting Nelda (2006-07 Chair of the Board) the outgoing Chair’s plaque and Outgoing Directors Plaque Mike McCallum (Community Bank) and Vernon Schrade (Chamber Board Member Emeritus) as Vernon is presenting the Vernon Schrade Heritage Hall of Fame Awards to Janet Coyle. Mike accepted the award for Ms Coyle as she was out of town.
