“Your Rowlett Chamber of Commerce
strives to serve the needs of the Membership while
contributing to the growth and quality of our community.”
The
Rowlett Chamber of Commerce, as the voice of the business
community, works to accomplish for you what no individual or
single business can do alone.
The strength of the organization lies in its
membership, which serves as a resource of ideas, manpower and
talents from which our community can draw investors.
The membership includes everyone from large
corporations to one-man operations, from industrial-driven
manufacturers to the service and professional sectors.
Understanding that the interests and needs of the
individual chamber investors are diverse, we strive to plan
programs and benefits that will meet the needs of all Chamber
members.

What
exposure can you expect from your Chamber Membership?
Business Directory
– This directory exclusively lists businesses that have
joined the Chamber. Investors
receive a free listing in the annual directory and an
opportunity for year-round exposure through individual
advertising in the directory.
Over 4,000 copies are distributed through the Chamber
office, major businesses, new-resident / informational
packets. Value $225
Website – Investors are included in the Categorical
listings on the Chamber’s website.
Value $250
Networking Opportunities
– It’s what you make of it, but there’s a lot to make:
such as monthly luncheons, Business After-Hours mixers,
B-2-B Networking events, and Ambassador Club participation
where investors can meet and make new business contacts.

Monthly Membership Luncheons
– Typically held on the 2nd Wednesday each month,
from
11:30
to
1:00pm
.
The monthly luncheons provide an interesting and
informative speaker on business-related topics.
An “Information Table” is provided for Chamber
members to display their business cards, flyers or other
promotional items. For
$5.00, Investors may purchase a “45-Second Spot”.
This “commercial” must relate directly to the
business. Value

Teacher or Principal Luncheon Sponsor
– Pay for the lunch of a teacher or principal of one of the
schools in Rowlett and be recognized as the sponsor for that
school at each luncheon during the school year.

Biz-N-Perks Networking Events
– This event is tailored to meet the members’ need for an
early morning networking opportunity.
Held on a monthly basis at the Chamber Offices, members
can start their day with a light breakfast while enjoying a
guest speaker and making new business contacts.
Limited space is available, so reservations are
required. Value $400
Business After-Hours Networking Events
– An opportunity to showcase your business by opening your
doors for an evening event (usually from
5:00
to
7:00p.m.
) You
may provide refreshments, and it is an added feature to
provide door prizes. Value Priceless
Member To Member Discount Program –
A two-fold benefit to our Investors --- enjoy discounts
offered exclusively to Chamber members by participating
businesses and/or utilize the program as an advertising
opportunity as a participating business.
Participants and available discount offers will be
listed on the Chamber website and updated monthly. Value

Newsletter
– Investors are kept informed of current business issues and
upcoming Chamber programs and events.
Investors also have the opportunity to advertise in
this monthly publication.
This advertising opportunity is available to Chamber
members only and must directly relate to the member’s
business. Value

Referral Service
– Investors benefit from daily referrals from local and
out-of-town inquiries for goods and services.
We make every effort to notify you of all the referrals
to your business. Value

Business Advertising
– As a Chamber investor, you have the opportunity to place
your business cards, brochures or promotional items for
inclusion in the Chamber’s New Resident / Informational
Packets. New and
potential residents, businesses and travelers visit the
Chamber often. Additional
advertising opportunities are available throughout the year
for the Chamber’s special events and programs. Value

Mailing Lists and Labels
– Mailing lists and address labels of current members and
new residents are available to investors by subscription for a
nominal fee.
