2023 AWARDS APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!

It's time for the 2023 Annual Awards cycle to begin. The winners will be presented at our Annual Awards Banquet on January 25, 2024.

We know that all of you have a story to tell about your business success, and we want to hear it. For these awards, we need your participation by completing an application. Applications will be evaluated and scored by professionals outside the area to maintain the strictest objectiveness and fairness.

Below are more specifics about the awards being solicited for the Annual Awards Banquet. Complete an application and be recognized for the great things you are doing. Click the links below to download the application of your choice.

Community Impact – Business

The Community Impact - Business Award is presented to a Rowlett business who is a Chamber member and has demonstrated exceptional performance in its support of the community through its involvement and support of programs, events or voluntary groups that serve to enhance the community.

Community Impact – Non-Profit

The Community Impact - Non-Profit Award is presented to a non-profit organization who is a Chamber member and that has demonstrated exceptional performance in its mission to serve the Rowlett community through programs, services and resources that positively impact the quality of life of our residents.

Customer Service Excellence

The Customer Service Excellence Award is presented to a Rowlett business who is a Chamber member and demonstrates exceptional performance and outstanding customer service to the local community.

Entrepreneur Trailblazer

The Entrepreneur Trailblazer Award is presented to a Rowlett business who has demonstrated positive growth, sustainability, innovation, community involvement, and outstanding commitment to Rowlett. The applicant must have been in business for 5 years or less at the end of calendar year.

Workforce Bridge Builder

The WorkforceBridge Builder Award is presented to a business or organization that has demonstrated exceptional performance in collaborating with community educational institutions and agencies to expand opportunities in their workforce, including areas such as students, individuals with special needs, veterans and minority groups. Opportunities can include innovative or new programs that support full and part-time employment, internships, mentoring, job shadowing, apprenticeships, or other such offerings. Without bridges, the best-built roads lead nowhere, and the best laid plans fail. This award acknowledges the bridges that have been built and the lifelong connections made. By providing a new generation of workers with opportunities in the region, we ultimately enhance our entire workforce and culture.
